Learning Services Ltd (LSL) offers services in educational assessment. Services include:
– brief assessment of current learning status “where is my child at?”
– brief assessment of learning capacity “could my child be doing better?”
Comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of Specific Learning Disability “is something wrong, or is there more to the story for my child?”

Training for Educators
Learning Services Ltd also provides training for educators who want to learn to use eductional assessment tools. This may include:
– LSC /SENCO using Lucid and other tools
– RTLB using various Level B tests and screeners
– Experienced professionals wanting to use the WJIV (or WJV) battery to identify SLD
Consultancy Services
Learning Services Ltd is also offering a consultancy service to schools and homeschoolers. This may include:
– facilitating school wide implementation of instructional programmes that follow on from the code based structured literacy programmes.
– sharing best practice in assessment of and for learning
– developing school wide shared implementation of Explict Instruction
Precision Teaching
Learning Services Ltd also provides training in the use of Precision Teaching for tutors. This may include:
– self employed tutors wanting to increase their effectiveness
– tutors and tutoring services wanting to improve their reporting to parents on student progress
– school based learning coaches and teachers’ aides who want to have better tools for skill development in their students
About
Andrew Salisbury is the Director of Learning Services Ltd. In this role, he oversees:
- assessment of specific learning disabilties
- training of LDANZ Registered Assessors
- development of School Based Assessment implementation plans
- sharing best practice of Precision Teaching as it applies to tutoring services and school based learning coaches
Andrew holds a Masters in Educational Psychology from Massey University.
He is not a registered psychologist.
Andrew also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching and a Bachelors degree in English Literature.
